POSITION OVERVIEW
The Planning Executive is responsible for managing inventory planning and order execution to ensure optimal stock levels that support sales demand while minimizing shortages and excess inventory. This role analyzes sales forecasts, actual consumption, and stock data to propose purchase quantities and delivery timelines, prepares purchase orders and shipment forecast reports.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage inventory levels, analyze stock data, forecasts, and actual sales to propose appropriate order quantities and delivery timelines, ensuring no shortages or excess.
- Prepare and submit purchase orders and requisitions based on sales requirements and forecasts.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Procurement departments to capture timely information.
- Prepare regular reports on order status and forecasts for Suppliers, as well as ad-hoc reports requested by Sales or Supervisors
- Monitor incoming shipments and warehouse entry schedules, providing updates to relevant departments.
- Report stock level to Sales & Customers
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or related fields
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in planning, procurement, or order management.
- Preferably knowledgeable in the food industry.
- Experience with ERP software is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Languages: Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)
